Not Waiting Behind The Universe

Earthen Bonelessness
Bring these bones back to life

Don’t look for me but if you must the please do

I’m at the café that stands still behind the universe
Sip’n on a cold sweet treat that I deserve
It’s louder in here then I than I’d prefer
But at least it’s still

Won’t you join me in the place no one looks at you?

If you find me without looking
I’ll buy you something

Look for me without me asking
It’s all I ask

This is where I am
Doesn’t mean I’m waiting
Why does the music stop when I’m contemplating

Delete the question mark
Before we spin to dark

Time to go
The place behind the universe
Is becoming such a task

Step out into it again
I am struck by the immensity of all movement

Clouds closing in and going past
Their golden sun blessed underbellies
Sky behind and falls away fast

Walkers of the sin as the leaves shimmy in the wind

All that moves is also moving on a moving thing

Continuously

And I move as well
With it or against it
Like a song verse

Until I’m here again at the café behind the universe
